What are Experiences?
Experiences are virtual visits that take you and your students on a cultural exploration to amazing places throughout the world.
The 15-20 minute visits are conducted in the local language and are recommended for students with at least one year of study in that language. Our spring 2022 offerings will be in Spanish.
Hosted by the cultural ambassadors of LinguaMeeting, each Experience provides a fun and engaging way for students to experience the cultures they are studying in class.

Each Experience includes:
• A 15-20 minute virtual visit to another country, with a focus on an interesting and relevant cultural topic.
• Student activities (in Spanish and English) that focus on the cultural products, practices, and perspectives discussed in each live Experience
• Teacher notes with cultural information, answer keys, and helpful suggestions for using Experiences and carrying out the activities with your class
• Kahoot Questions in Spanish and English so you can create your own fun and interactive quiz

Colombia
Resident guides Gabriela, Aura, and Sebastián invite students on a bike tour to see their beautiful city – Cali, Colombia! Visitors will see the iconic Boulevar del Río and the typical foods, buildings, art, and nature that make Cali culture so unique.
